How do I make an account?
Click Log in and continue with Discord. That is the only way to log in, so we never see or store a password for you.
Do I need an account to browse?
No. Anyone can view the home page, downloads, announcements and the public chat. You need to log in to post, comment, react, chat, message people and, depending on the site settings, to download.
Are the downloads safe?
Files are made by community members, not by us. Moderators review each post and we show file hashes, but no review can promise a file is harmless. Use downloads at your own risk and read the download safety guide first.
Why is my post not visible?
Every new post starts as pending. It becomes public after a moderator approves it. You will get a notification when it is approved, rejected or needs changes.
What files can I upload?
Only .jar, .exe and .zip files, up to 2 files and 2 images (png, jpg or webp) per post. The size limit is shown on the upload page.
How do I get the CLIENT ENGINEER tag?
It is given automatically once enough of your posts are approved. The number is set by the site team.
How often can I change my username?
Once every 7 days. Usernames are 3 to 20 letters, numbers or underscores, and some names are reserved.
Can staff read my direct messages?
No. Only the two people in a conversation can read it. The only exception is a message someone reports, which moderators see so they can handle the report.
Why can I not send messages in the chat?
You may be in slow mode, have hit the rate limit, sent the same message twice, or been muted by a moderator. Wait a moment and try again.
How do I delete my account?
Open Edit profile and use "Delete my account and data". It removes your account and your content right away.
I was banned. Can I appeal?
Yes. Email the address shown on the ban screen or the contact page with your username and why you think the ban should be lifted.
