1. Understand the risk
Every file here is uploaded by a community member. Moderators review posts, but a review is not a guarantee. Run downloads at your own risk.
2. Before you download
- Read the description and comments. Are other people reporting problems?
- Look at the author's profile and history.
- Prefer posts that include a source .zip so the code can be checked.
- Back up your important files and game saves.
3. Check the file hash
Each file shows a SHA-256 hash, a fingerprint of the exact file. After downloading, compare it:
- Windows (PowerShell):
Get-FileHash .\file.jar -Algorithm SHA256 - macOS:
shasum -a 256 file.jar - Linux:
sha256sum file.jar
If the hash does not match, delete the file and report the post.
4. Scan the file
- Scan it with your antivirus.
- You can search the hash on a multi-engine scanner such as VirusTotal. A clean result is a helpful sign, not proof of safety, and new files are often "unknown".
5. Running .exe and .jar files
- Never run files as administrator unless you understand why it is needed.
- Consider a virtual machine or a separate test account for unknown tools.
- Never enter your passwords, Discord token or payment details into a mod or tool.
- Keep Windows, Java and your antivirus up to date.
6. Warning signs
- The tool asks you to turn off your antivirus.
- It asks for your Discord, Microsoft or game account login.
- The file is much bigger or smaller than described, or the hash does not match.
- The post promises free paid content, cracks or "unlimited" anything.
7. If something goes wrong
- Disconnect from the internet and run a full antivirus scan.
- Change your passwords from a different, clean device, and turn on two-factor login.
- Report the post with the Report button so moderators can remove it.
